Although Vižinada used to be and still is an agriculturally important town with a good position on the edge of a wide and corrugated expanse, covered with cultivated fields and vineyards, it had a station building of the second category, which is now a well-preserved private house.
Close to the station, on the side of the road, there is a model of the U20 locomotive in natural size, set up in memory of the little train that once ran in these parts. From the rear side of the locomotive model it is possible to climb the steps to the engine driver’s seat and imagine how these small and agile locomotives were conquering sharp and steep curves on the winding section of the line from Buje to Vižinada.
